Rahman ‘Rakocha’ Kutsanzira says Highlanders’ performances last season made him make the decision to come back to the club.
The player is still out and is slowly recovering from his elbow injury. Kutsanzira got injured at training, a day after he signed on for the Bulawayo giants.
This weekend, he will again watch Bosso take on Chapungu from the terraces. “I am feeling a better now. I am no longer feeling the pain. Doctors are yet to clear me. As for playing, I have not resumed training with team. Hopefully I will be okay in time,” Kutsanzira told Soccer24.
Known for his dribbling wizardry, Kutsanzira turned out for Caps United last season.
At Bosso, Rakocha will not find it easy to make starts, with the caliber of players brought in by the Highlanders executive.
The player said his decision to return to Bosso was inspired by the team’s performance in the last two seasons.
“I was inspired by Kelvin Kaindu. The team did so well in 2012 and 2013.They had a dream season last year, setting records and going on a consistent top three finish. “I told myself that this is the team to play for.”
