Ndebele advises clubs on player registrations

kenny ndebelePSL chief, Kennedy Ndebele has advised clubs to behave ‘professionally’ by submitting players they want to register for the  2014 season in time before the Zifa transfer window closes on 31 March.

Ndebele said they are expecting clubs to start submitting actual lists this Friday so that the league manages to process player licenses in time before the season opens.

He said this time they want the process to run smoothly so as to protect players from dishonest club executives and agents.

Previously the PSL has had to make delays to the start of top flight football competition.

The league has run costs in conducting hearings on cases involving players movements, in what has been said to be a show of unprofessionalism from teams and player representatives.

Some teams fail to provide player clearance letters in time, leaving players stranded and tarnishing the image of the game.
