Musona wants to inspire Kaizer Chiefs in Soweto Derby

Zimbabwean international Knowledge Musona says he will not be going for personal glory when Kaizer Chiefs clash with Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium today.

Musona has been on a good run and will be looking forward to carrying on his recent form against Pirates.

Speaking to Kickoff.com Musona said, “Every game to us is always important. We need to work together to achieve victory,”

“I do not set personal goals for myself when I go into a match. The important thing is for the team to do well and it is never about me as an individual.

“If I manage to score then I will be very happy. However, what is more vital is to help the team to win and this is what will be on my mind when get onto the pitch,” he adds.

The match will have a Zimbabwean flavour to it with the Kaizer Chiefs quartet of Musona, Ktasande, Kingston Nkatha and Matthew Rusike all expected to play a role.

Kaizer Chiefs are on top of the log standings with 43 points from 20 matches while Orlando Pirates are on fourth spot with 33 points from 19 matches.
