Zimbabwe gave away a last minute goal to draw 1-1 in their opening Group A match against Mozambique at the ongoing AUSC Reagion 5 Under 20 tournament at Barbourfields Stadium.
Zimbabwe was the first to score in the 34th minute through Thembalethu Mthunzi. However with the game headed towards fulltime, Mozambique capitalised on a larpse in concentration by Zimbabwe defence to equalize in the first minute of added time.
In another match played at Luveve Stadium in Group B, Zambia walloped defending champions South Africa 6-1.
Jonathan Daka was hero turned villain after having scored a hattrick in the first 20 minutes of the game for Chipolopolo and went on to receive a Red card after a crude tackle inside the box that awarded South Africa their only goal of the match through a penalty.
