Allowance and air tickets row threatens Zim v Guinea match

The Zimbabwe national team players are demanding their allowances hours before they are scheduled to play Guinea in an AFCON qualifier this afternoon.

According to sources inside the camp the players demands include allowances for their current camp as well as outstanding allowances for their game against Malawi.

Players are also demanding a refund for their tickets after some used personal money to fly in for the tie

The players had expected to receive payments during the course of the week but now fear they may told stories once again and have threatened not to fulfill the fixture.

Most players are scheduled to leave soon after the game and I understood to want their dues settled before the  game.

ZIFA which is currently struggling financially has promised the players they will receive their dues. The latest chaos could dampen the mood for the team ahead of the crucial AFCON qualifier.
