FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza is not getting carried away after the impressive 3-1 victory over Dynamos saying their destiny is in God’s hands.

Despite cruising into second position, five points behind log leaders Chicken Inn and now in striking distance to fight for the title, Mapeza said only God knows his club’s destiny, once again ruling out his side from the title.

Mapeza who has been trying to avoid championship talk, to avoid pressurising his players, said it’s still premature to talk about the championship as there are still more games to play.

” It’s still early days to talk about the championship and the only person who knows it’s destiny and our destiny is God. We are taking each game as it comes until the end, ” said Mapeza.

FC Platinum put up a polished performance to outwit defending champions Dynamos 3-1 to rekindle their hopes of winning the title after blowing a chance to do so in 2011 at the same venue, when then eventually ended the season as runners up to Dynamos.
