Bosso wont be relegated says Legend Zenzo Moyo

Highlanders Legend and former Soccer star of the year Zenzo Moyo has backed Highlanders to shrug off relegation this year.

The Bulawayo giants are sitting precariously above the relegation zone on 10th position having amased 28 points from 24 matches played.

The change of coaches seems not to be working for Bosso as the new technical staff of Cosmas Zulu and Amini Soma Phiri have remained on 10th position after 3 games in charge, the same position Bosso was at when Bongani Mafu was sacked.

Speaking to the Southern Eye, Zenzo Moyo said despite a bad spell Bosso will not go down.

“Highlanders will not be relegated. Something will happen to those teams at the bottom, but getting 13 points under the circumstances will be difficult. I watched them play against Caps United and those boys don’t have what it takes. They cannot grind the results. Mentally, those boys have given up and their body language says it all,” Moyo said.

“It’s not pleasant for a big brand like Highlanders to be fighting relegation. You can’t be fighting relegation when you are playing for Highlanders. It’s high time these boys focused on playing football and respect Highlanders as a brand. These boys have to make their own history.” he added

Bosso fight for survival continues this weekend when they host struggling Dongo Sawmills at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
