Mutuma: It’s still anyone’s game

Dynamos forward Rodrick Mutuma has rallied his teammates and urged them to put a spirited fight to win the last five games if they are to entertain chances of winning fifth consecutive league title.

Mutuma has been one of the shining beacons at the Glamour Boys but fired blanks during the side’s nil all draw against Harare City, a result which dented their championship hopes.

However, Mutuma still believes that with 15 points to play for Dynamos is within reach of the championship.

“Off course we did not come away with the result that we wanted and it is not good for our campaign. If you look at the past seasons especially last year no one gave us a chance going in the final day of the season.

“It is these sort of situations which gives me belief that the league is still a long way to be decided.

We can no longer afford to lapse at this stage and therefore we need to collect maximum points in our last games and see what happens,” said the gangly Dynamos forward.

Mutuma has provided some important goals for the league champions since his return after an ill-fated spell at Caps United during the mid-season transfer window.
