Ndiraya hurt by failure to win league title

Dynamos head coach Tonderai Ndiraya says that it hurts to be the coach who breaks the winning streak.

Dembare had won four league titles in a row before Ndiraya took over from David Mandigora but on Saturday the streak ended with Chicken Inn being crowned the 2015 Castle Premier Soccer League champions.

“It really hurts to lose the league title and more so to be that coach who breaks the winning streak but we did all we could and our best was not good enough and we definitely have to improve,” said Ndiraya.

“We still have a chance at silverware with the semi-finals of the Easycall cup and we are going all out for victory and we definitely have to the trophy for our fans who have been strong on our side even during the trying times, ” added the young coach.

Meanwhile the Dynamos executive has backed Ndiraya to lead them in 2016 despite concerns from some fans who doubt his abilities.
