Chicken Inn finish with win as Buffaloes are relegated

League champions Chicken Inn finished the season on a winning note when they beat Flame Lilly 2-1 at Lafarge Stadium. The Gamecocks were also handed the league trophy after the win.

Clemence Matawu and Lawrence Mhlanga grabbed the goals for Chicken Inn in the second half while Flame Lilly scored a consolation late on.

At Sakubva Stadium Zivanai Mukanda scored late for Dynamos to send Buffaloes to division one football. The win helped Dynamos finish the season in second place after FC Platinum could only manage a draw with with relegated Dongo Sawmills.

At the National Sport Stadium CAPS United finished the season on a high when they came from behind to beat Whawha 3-1. Whawha opened the scoring but two quick goals by Dominic Chungwa just before halftime handed CAPS the advantage.Joel Ngodzo then sealed the win with a third.

Highlanders saw their unbeaten run come to an end when they beaten by ZPC Kariba at Barbourfields.Its was bad day for Bosso as they missed a penalty and several other chances.

In other games Hwange’s poor form at home continued when they lost 2-1 to Triangle while How Mine and Chapungu played out a goalless draw at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.
