Dynamos will play the match against Highlanders in the Netone Easycall Cup but only if their two players Takesure Chinyama and Rodreck Mutuma are allowed to play.

This follows a meeting between the PSL and Dynamos today after Dynamos had threatened to pull out of the match citing bias by the PSL disciplinary committee.

Both players received four match bans and a fine of $1000 each for misconduct following the Chibuku Super Cup final. A decision that infuriated the Dynamos executive who felt Dembare was being targeted.

With the Premier Soccer League keen to avoid an embarrassing situation and potential bad publicity for the tournament sponsor Netone the league seems to have yielded to some Dynamos’ demands.

However Dynamos have been urged to appeal the ruling but will be allowed to use the players this weekend.

PSL via chairman Twine Phiri confirmed that the two parties had met and resolved their differences with President Kenny Mubaiwa and Dynamos sticking  to their guns saying their position was not negotiable.

Speaking to Star FM after the meeting with the PSL Mubaiwa said, “We have told them to reverse their judgement and start afresh because the playing field is not fair.We were not happy with their decision and we told that to PSL.

“One of our conditions is for us to play on Sunday we need to have a full squad including those two players and they must set them free so that they can play on Sunday, definitely their going to play.

CAPS United will meet Chicken Inn in the first semi-final on Saturday followed by Highlanders and Dynamos clashing on Sunday.
