Nengomasha at TUKS for trials

Former Zimbabwean international Tinashe Nengomasha (33) has reportedly started trials with the University of Pretoria(TUKS).

Nengomasha has been club less since the beginning of the current ABSA Premiership league season despite being linked to a number of teams in the top flight and in the National First Division.

According to South African publication Soccer Laduma, Nengomasha was spotted at TUKS this week training with the first team.

Nengomasha had an illustrious career in the ABSA Premiership and was at his peak while playing for Kaizer Chiefs where he stayed for close to a decade. He picked up the 2003-2004 Player of the Season as well as the Players Player of the Season in the same season. He joined Bidvest Wits after leaving Chiefs and then Mpumalanga Black Aces.

TUKS are struggling and are currently second from bottom in the league having played nine games.

Nengomasha would join fellow Zimbabweans Partson Jaure and Washington Arubi is he does get a deal.
