Dynamos threaten to withdraw from Easycall Cup

Harare giants Dynamos have sent a stern warning to the PSL of withdrawing from the weekend’s Easycall semifinal matchup against Highlanders.

Dynamos are protesting against the judgement of their striking duo of Mutuma and Chinyama who were both handed a 4 match ban for charging at referee Philani Ncube after Chibuku Super Cup final against Harare City.

Dynamos leadership say they are being treated differently than other clubs and have accused the PSL of bias.

Dynamos executive council have resolved to withdraw from the weekend but now awaits the Club President Kenny Mubaiwa to agree.

The move will be a blow to the sponsors as they seek to gain mileage with the game pitting the most popular clubs in the country.

Speaking to the Herald Dynamos secretary Webster Chikengezha did not mince his words regarding their position. “There is no question that we are getting a very raw deal from the PSL and it’s there for everyone to see and if they don’t want us to be part of the league they should just tell us because it doesn’t make sense that our players are punished for this offence and Highlanders players, who behaved in a similar ,if not worse manner are not punished said  Chikengezha.
