EPL: Liverpool beat Leicester,Man City cruise as Chelsea draw

In the English Premiership today log leaders Leicester were handed only their second defeat of their season when they lost 1-0 to Liverpool.

Claudio Ranieri’s men succumbed to a 63rd goal by substitute Chris Benteke to give second placed Arsenal an opportunity to take top spot when they clash with Southampton in a late kickoff.

At Stamford Bridge Diego Costa scored a brace but Chelsea were forced to share the points with Watford in a 2-2 draw. Costa gave Chelsea the lead but goals by Troy Deeney and Nigerian international Odion Ighalo (his 13th of the season) gave Watford the lead. Costa then levelled matters in the 65th minute. Chelsea blew a great chance win the game when Oscar blazed a penalty over the bar after Hazard was brought down in the box.

Manchester City returned to winning ways when they cruised to a comfortable 4-1 win over Sunderland. Raheem Sterling,Yaya Toure ,Wilfred Bony and Kevin De Bruyne were all on the score sheet for City.

Manchester United bad run continued when they were beaten 2-0 by Stoke City in an early kick off.
