Pasuwa not happy with ZIFA offer

Warriors head Callisto Pasuwa’s future with the national team remains uncertain with contract negotiations continuing to drag on.

The Warriors are set to leave for CHAN 2016 at the end of the week but Pasuwa is yet to strike a deal with the football association

Pasuwa and his management team are not impressed with the offer handed to them by ZIFA and other terms including the length of the contract.

Pasuwa has reportedly been offered a $3000 salary with his management team seeking around $7000 per month.

Gibson Mahachi who represents Pasuwa admitted they were not pleased with the offer given by ZIFA. “I can’t mention the figures, but the salary they are offering is below what other coaches in the Premiership are earning and this being a national job he told Newsday.

Pasuwa is understood to also been unhappy with some of the set targets that include winning CHAN 2016 on the back of some poor preparations.
