Former Zimbabwean youth international Charlton Mashumba scored the only goal as Jomo Cosmos handed Orlando Pirates a surprise defeat in the ABSA Premiership.
After an initially struggling with his form at the beginning of the season Mashumba is now delivering on the goals front
Mashumba struck the winner in the 75th minute to add more troubles on Orlando Pirates. Earlier Mashumba could have put Cosmos in the lead but he had his effort ruled out after a foul had been committed before the game.
Mashumba has now scored 5 goals this season the most by a Zimbabwean in the ABSA Premiership this season.
Mashumba is yet to represent Zimbabwe at senior level having represented the country at junior levels.
Mashumba was key in helping Jomo Cosmos gaining promotion into the top flight after scoring 19 goals in the National First Division.
