Chelsea and Manchester United draw as Arsenal win

Chelsea and Manchester United played an entertaining 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge today.

There was little to choose between the two sides in the first half ,though Chelsea had a penalty call turned down after Blind appeared to use his arm to block John Terry’s effort at the end of the first half.

The teams went into the halftime break with the scoreline goalless

In the second half the match really lit up,Zouma though had to be stretched off in great pain after landing awkwardly while going for the ball ,he was replaced by Gary Cahill

Manchester United went in front in the 61st minute when Jese Lingard scored with a spectacular half volley.

Despite trailing Chelsea continued to press and were denied by an inform David De Gea making key saves.

However in the 91st minute Chelsea got their equaliser through Diego Costa when he scored with his second attempt after his initial effort had been blocked.

Chelsea continued to pour after and Costa forced another save from De Gea right at the end but the points were to be shared as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Chelsea are in 13th spot on the log table after the draw while Manchester United are in 5th spot six points behind 4th placed Manchester City.

In an earlier match Arsenal ended their run without a win when they beat Bournemouth to go 3rd and level on points with Spurs but 5 points behind Leicester City. Mesut Ozil and Oxlade Chamberlain scored for the Gunners.
