Antipas has plan to stop Sundowns deadly trio

While Chicken Inn gaffer Joey Antipas admits that their Champions League opponents Mamelodi Sundowns are in top form, the soft-spoken gaffer said at the club’s press conference yesterday afternoon that even if they going to face a club from Filabusi he was going to feel the pressure.

“Mamelodi Sundowns are in top gear but football is always there in this game. Even if we were going to play against a team from Filabusi I was going to feel the pressure,’ said Antipas

He added: “We had loved to play this game at Luveve Stadium which our favourite hunting ground. Babourfields is a beat heavy for my boys but we have no choice.”

Luveve Stadium was recently condemned by Caf officials to host particular matches owing to its failure to match some set Caf standards.

With regards to his squad’s preparedness for Sundowns test, Antipas said, “We are ready but we will play a cautious game. Sundowns are a tricky team. We will to knock down their supply line that provides Khama, Dolly and Castro with clean balls.”

Meanwhile, Chicken Inn and Mamelodi Sundowns will have pre-match press conference today at the new Chicken Inn Drive Inn next to ZITF.

Sundowns are expected to have a feel of Babourfields Stadium soon after touching down in Bulawayo around mid-day.
