Mubaiwa says Silva behaviour not acceptable

Dynamos president has expressed his concern after club head coach Paulo Jorge Silva attacked a  ZBC news crew yesterday.

The Portuguese mentor attacked the ZBC news crew allegedly thinking it was Newsday who had questioned his coaching experience.

In the process Silva injured a ZBC camera woman and could have damaged equipment as well.

Mubaiwa who is running for the PSL chairmanship admitted the club would take action on the incident if they found Silva to be guilty.

“I haven’t been briefed, but if it’s true, then we will certainly take action,” Mubaiwa told Newsday

“As Dynamos, we don’t want to risk unnecessary bad publicity. We are a big brand and we should lead by example. Such behaviour, if it’s really true, is not acceptable.

“We will have to sit down with him and hear his side of the story, but we always want to work well with our stakeholders, especially the media because they are the ones who promote our brand added Mubaiwa.
