Sundowns seeking revenge against Chicken Inn

Mamelodi Sundowns may have one of their key players missing when they take on Chicken Inn this evening.

A member of the famed “CBD”, Castro could be missing due to injury. Castro missed their win against Mpumalanga Black Aces at the weekend and remains a doubt for today’s game according to the official club website.

If Castro does fail to play it will mark the second time that the CBD combination has failed to feature against Chicken Inn, after Billiat failed to feature in the first leg due to an injury.

Castro’s injury may pave way for Zimbabwean international Cuthbert Malajila to start .

Meanwhile Sundowns says they are keen to gain revenge over the Gamecocks after losing in Bulawayo two weeks ago.

“We must make the atmosphere as intimidating as possible for them.  Every Sundowns fan must turn out and we must give Chicken Inn a dose of their own medicine,” said Communications Co-Ordinator Thulani Thuswa.

Chicken Inn though are likely to have good support as well in South Africa with a number of Zimbabwean fans expected to turn out to back the visitors.
