Zifa have stated that the national team squad for the for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers has not yet been announced.
This comes in the wake of social media lists that claimed that Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa had released his squad.
ZIFA has advised that they will make the announcement sometime this week at a press conference.
Zimbabwe have back to back clashes with Swaziland at the end of the month. The first clash will be away to Swaziland on the 25th of March with the second match set for Easter Monday in Harare.
With a number of Zimbabwean international players abroad in fine form Pasuwa has a good selection headache for his squad.
Players such as Knowledge Musona,Khama Billiat ,Tendai Ndoro ,Willard Katsande, Marvelous Nakamba are playing some of their best football at the moment which should be sweet news for the Warriors especially after the local players failed to impress at CHAN 2016.
Zimbabwe and Swaziland are currently tied on 4 points in their group which also has Malawi and Guinea.
Two wins would enhance the Warriors chances of qualifying for their 3rd AFCON competition.
