Dynamos pull out of Bob 92 Cup ,replaced by CAPS United

Dynamos have pulled out the Bob 92 ZIFA Cup. They were supposed to meet Highlanders in a two legged tie. The 1st leg was set to be played at Barbourfields Stadium tomorrow.

Dembare are not happy with the organisers not making it clear on what clubs will get for participating and in addition are yet to receive their money from participating in the last edition last year.

Dynamos were owed $40 000 after winning last year’s Cup.

Asked to comment on the issues Dynamos secretary general Webster Chikengezha referred all questions to the board. “This issue is being handled at board level and they would be the best to comment Chikengezha told Soccer24.

Dynamos board Chairman Bernard Marriott was not available when contacted however sources confirmed Dynamos would not be making the trip to Dynamos.

Dynamos will now be replaced by CAPS United. Highlanders have confirmed participation despite having their concerns as well on the prize money. The match was also set to be broadcast live on Supersport.
