Ndoro scores in Orlando Pirates 5-0 win over Jomo Cosmos

Zimbabwean international Tendai Ndoro continued with his scoring form in Orlando Pirates 5-0 thrashing of relegation threatened Jomo Cosmos last night.

Ndoro who scored a brace in last week’s Soweto Derby scored the 4th goal for Orlando Pirates just before the half time break. Ndoro finished at close range after Gyimah’s cross.

Ayanda Gcaba had given Pirates the lead in the 11th minute from a tight angle before Sifiso Myeni and Mpho Makola added more goals. Ndoro though could have added more to his tally with more precise finishing especially in the second half.

Things went from bad to worse in the 13th minute for Jomo Sono when Cosmos were reduced to ten men after a reckless challenge by Cheslyn Jampies saw him given a straight red card.

The red card saw Sono change his formation and Zimbabwean international Denver  Mukamba was sacrificed for  Pentjie Zulu.

Pirates move into sixth spot on the ABSA Premiership with the win while Jomo Cosmos are second from bottom.
