Knox Mutizwa to link up with Bidvest Wits

Highlanders forward Knox Mutizwa has been called by his South African Absa Premiership club Bidvest Wits to train with them for a week.

Mutizwa is currently on a six months loan to Bosso from Wits who signed him about a month ago following his trail late last year.

“I can confirm that Knox (Mutizwa) is wanted by his club. He will be leaving on Monday to train with them for about a week and come back home. He will be doing that till July. I received a letter from his agent Gibson Mahachi informing me about that,” said Bosso chief executive Ndumiso Gumede.

Mutizwa, a 2015 Soccer Star of the Year second runner up, had a stellar performance in Bosso colours last season scoring the all-important goals for the Bulawayo football giants.

The striker impressed Gavin Hunt with his performances and high work rate during his trial with the Sturrock Park outfit last year.

Wits are still in the title race after ABSA Premiership leaders Sundowns were beaten by Celtic while Wits overcame Orlando Pirates.
