Chicken Inn to let go of three senior players

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League defending champions Chicken Inn are set to let go three senior players Bhekimpilo “Bhakha” Nyoni,Guide Goddard and David Temwanjera.

The trio however still have running contracts with the Gamecocks meaning and could be loaned to other clubs but are understood to not be in the coaches plan for the upcoming season.

Ncube is reportedly on the verge of joining  PSL newcomers Bulawayo City while Goddard is reportedly to have told administrators at Chicken Inn that he wanted to retrace to his childhood club Highlanders.

“Coming up with our 30 member squad has been a headache. As the technical members we are not able to reveal our squad now ,but the players that are going to part ways with us are going to be informed soon,” said Gamecocks coach Joey Antipas this afternoon.

Antipas could not be drawn into to naming this season’s 30 member squad but the first local transfer window closes on Saturday so should be finalised by the weekend.
