Golden Arrows take Chicken Inn trio for trials

Chicken Inn trio of captain Danny Phiri, holding midfielder Tafadzwa Kutinyu and their new signing Moses Demera sneaked out of the country this morning for a weeklong trial stint with Absa Premiership side Golden Arrows.

Chicken Inn players caught the eye of a number of South African clubs after their performances against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League.

Head coach Joey Antipas has also attracted attention from a National First Division (NFD) side

Interestingly, Arrows are home to former Chicken Inn winger and Warriors star midfielder Kuda Mahachi who moved from Mamelodi Sundowns.

“The three players left for South Africa this morning for trials with Golden Arrows. We wish them well,” said Chicken Inn chairman Lifa Ncube.

Golden Arrows are currently in 11th place in the ABSA Premiership with 29 points from 23 games.
