CAPS United skipper Method Mwanjali has remained in police custody while fellow teammate Archford Gutu has been released on bail.

The two players were involved in a brawl  at Longcheng Plaza Shopping mall in Harare on Saturday night with Mwanjali allegedly stabbing someone while Gutu smashed the victim’s’ car windscreen.

The pair appeared in court today with Gutu released on a $100 bail while Mwanjali is set to remain in custody. Though the victim is now out of danger after undergoing surgery Mwanjali could possibly be tried with attempted murder.

Mwanjali is set to have his bail hearing tomorrow.
