The Zimbabwe Football Association Executive committee which met today in Harare has resolved not to renew Secretary General Jonathan Mashingaidze’s contract.

It therefore means Mashingaidze’s reign at the helm of ZIFA has ended as he will be put on a retirement.

Mashingaidze’s contract expired at the end of last month, but he has continued to work pending the determination of his future by the Board.

Meanwhile Joseph Mamutse has assumed the role of acting General Secretary with immediate effect.
