Pasuwa confirms Warriors friendly match with Uganda

The Zimbabwe national team will host Uganda in a friendly match on the 31st of May as part of their preparations for the crucial AFCON qualifier against Malawi.

Zimbabwe currently top group L with 8 points after two wins and two draws. A victory over Malawi would allow Zimbabwe to edge closer edge closer to a third AFCON appearance.

Speaking to Cafonline Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa said, “We will use the friendly match against Uganda to prepare for our remaining games especially the match against Malawi.

It will also assist us assess ourselves in terms of combinations to make sure we qualify for AFCON 2017.

Zimbabwe take on Malawi on the 5th of June at the National Sports Stadium.
