Malajila and Billiat score in Sundowns CAF Confed Cup win

Zimbabwean international’s Khama Billiat and Cuthbert Malajila were both on target as Mamelodi Sundowns beat Ghanaian side Medeama 3-1  at the Lucas Moripe Stadium this evening.

Fresh from winning the ABSA Premiership title Sundowns had a bad start when Eric Kwakwa gave Medeama the lead in the first minute of the game.

However Sundowns had a good end scoring three times in the space of six minutes to take the advantage. Leonard Castro equalised before Billiat and Malajila who was a second half substitute scored to give Sundowns a 3-1 lead ahead of the return leg in Ghana.

If Sundowns win the two legged tie they will proceed to the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
