Golden Arrows dedicate win to Kuda Mahachi

Kuda Mahachi’s club, Golden Arrows have dedicated their 1-0 win over Jomo Cosmos to him following the death of his four year old daughter.

Mahachi’s daughter died on Tuesday after an illness. Mahachi travelled back to Zimbabwe and missed the match played last night.

Speaking after the match Golden Arrows head coach Clinton Larsen is quoted by Kickoff saying, “We released immediately to go home and he was due to start tonight so we also missed the very important cog in the team because he’s been in good form in the last three or four games.

“We really send our heartfelt condolences to Mahachi and his family for their loss. This game I said in my pre-match interview was playing in his honour.”

The result saw Golden Arrows go 8th on the ABSA Premiership standing’s with one round of matches left to be played.
