Chunga makes it two wins while ZPC Kariba go top

Moses Chunga registered his second consecutive win since taking over as Harare City head coach when his side beat Bulawayo City 2-0 this afternoon in Castle Lager Premiership match.

Second half goals by Francisco Zikumbawire and Martin Vengesayi were enough to give Harare City maximum points.

Bulawayo City blew  a good chance to take the lead in the first half when they were awarded a penalty after a William Manondo a foul in the box. Tafadzwa Dube saved Xolisani Moyo’s kick as the score remained goalless.

Zikumbawire then scored just after the halftime break before Vengesayi made victory certain in the 59th minute.

The win sees Harare City climb above Bulawayo City to 6th spot before other matches are played on Sunday.

At Nyamhunga Stadium Tawanda Munyaduri’s goal just after halftime saw ZPC Kariba claim maximum points to go top of the table ahead for at least 24 hours.

Its ZPC Kariba’s 5th victory at home this season. The win puts ZPC Kariba on 21 points one point above FC Platinum who are not in action this weekend.
