Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane says the interest in Khama Billiat from other clubs is a good thing.
African giants Al Ahly and Zamalek are the latest clubs to be linked with the Zimbabwean international who has been impressing in the CAF Champions League.
“If you play at the highest level and you perform there is always interest, it is normal Mosimane told Africanfootball.com
“I like it when there is interest from different clubs in my players, it means that we have the right type of players. Imagine if you have a player that nobody wants? I look on the positive side of things.
Mosimane though indicated he would prefer for Billiat to get a club possibly in Europe.
“I am not here to decide on Khama’s future, but he is currently playing for a team that is as good as Al Ahly, he can play at the same level as Al Ahly, but the business side is not for me – I am the coach.
Sundowns could seal their place in the CAF Champions League semi-finals if they manage to get at least a point against Zamalek later today.
