Chitembwe delight after CAPS United get key win

CAPS United head coach Lloyd Chitembwe has praised his side for getting a key three points against Tsholotsho at Luveve Stadium.

Dominic Chungwa’s goal once again clinched the win for CAPS United in what was a tightly contested match.

Tsholotsho got good chances to score and were unlucky to have a penalty call not given when Dennis Dauda appeared to handle only for referee Thomas Masaa to turn it down despite his assistant signalling the incident.

Speaking after the game Chitembwe said, “We really needed this result and I am happy we managed to get in. Tsholotsho gave us a tough game and their game plan was working.

With FC Platinum being held by Hwange at home CAPS United are only two points behind the log leaders. CAPS United will host FC Platinum at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday in what promises to be an exciting encounter between the two sides.
