Former Warriors goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini has expressed his concerns despite Zimbabwe’s AFCON qualification.
Zimbabwe finished their campaign with a 1-0 loss to Guinea but had already booked a place at Gabon 2017.
“I watched that match and I think we lacked tactical awareness. I do not want to be too critical because I am also a player and I am aware of the challenges that are associated with playing away from home,” Kapini told KickOff.com.
However Kapini acknowledged the squad could have been less motivated with qualification already sealed.
Zimbabwe will be making their 3rd appearance at AFCON 2017 and for the first time head to the tournament as group winners.
