Tapuwa Kapini the hero as Highlands Park beat Baroka

Former Zimbabwean international Tapuwa Kapini inspired Highlands Park to victory when he saved two spot kicks as they beat Baroka 2-1.

Promising Zim youngster Marshall Munetsi who is on loan from Orlando Pirates opened the scoring for Baroka from the penalty spot in the 6th minute.

However Highlands Park scored the equaliser through last season top goal scorers Collins Mbesuma.

Baroka had a great chance to restore the lead when they were awarded another penalty but Kapini saved Munetsi’s effort this time around.

Charlton Mashumba then put Highlands Park in front with a goal in the 57th minute.

Baroka got another penalty after a handball in the box but Kapini was on hand to save once again as Highlands Park secured maximum points.

In another match George Chigova put on a impressive performance denying Bidvest Wits several opportunities as Polokwane played a goalless draw with The Students.
