Billiat strikes to keep Sundowns Champions League hopes alive

Khama Billiat struck an important away goal as Sundowns went down 2-1 to Zambian side Zesco United in the CAF Champions league first leg semifinal this afternoon.

The Zambian side continued to impress in the competition and struck two quick goals in the second half after a goalless first half.

Jackson Mwanza puts Zesco in the lead in the 54th minute and barely minutes later Mwape scored a second.

With the game coming to an end Billiat struck in the 86th minute to give his side a life line slotting in from the back post.

The goal could key if Sundowns are to overturn the tie in their favour when they clash in the return leg in South Africa.
