Tsholotsho had a plan that worked against CAPS United says Sweswe

Tsholotsho head coach Lizwe Sweswe has shot down suggestions that his team beat got the better of CAPS United due to the problems the Green Machine had before the game.

Tsholotsho progressed to the quarterfinals of the Chibuku Super Cup after beating CAPS United 5-4 on penalties after the match had ended 1-1 in normal time. The match only kicked off after a 35 minute delay as CAPS United players demanded outstanding payments from their management prior to kickoff.

But Sweswe said all clubs were struggling and there was nothing special or unique about CAPS United’s problems and Tsholotsho were the better team on the day.

“We all have problems, so we can’t blame for the defeat because if they had problems they would not have come to the ground. They came meaning they were prepared to play.

“The difference was that we came out with a plan on how to contain them and our target is to reach the finals and win this competition.
