Mubaiwa not going anywhere remains Dynamos president

Kenny Mubaiwa will remain Dynamos president after resolving issues with board chairman Bernard Marriot at a crisis meeting yesterday.

Mubaiwa had reportedly tendered his resignation last week after a sensational fall out with Marriott.

Dynamos have had one of their worst seasons in recent years and Mubaiwa felt betrayed by the board when a decision he made to fire assistant coach Murape Murape was reversed.

Murape had given a frank assessment of the issues affecting the club and also questioned the quality of the current crop of Dynamos players.

Mubaiwa refused to comment after the meeting yesterday insisting Marriott would issue a press statement later.

While club secretary Mthokozisi Nkosi played down the whole incident, “It was a misunderstanding between the board chairman and president but it seems some of the things have been blown out of proportion he is quoted saying by the Herald.
