2018 World Cup qualifiers: Nigeria, Egypt and Tunisia victorious

Nigeria ,Egypt and Tunisia all registered wins when the CAF Zone 2018 World Cup qualifiers continued on Sunday.

EPL based Alexi Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho scored for the Super Eagles as they beat Zambia 2-1at the Levy Mwanwasa Stadium.

Iwobi scored the opener in the 33rd minute before Manchester City’s striker Iheanacho doubled the lead ten minutes later.

Collins Mbesuma pulled one back for Zambia as they tried to stage a comeback but Nigeria held onto to the lead.

In the other group game Algeria and Cameroon played a 1-1 draw.Hilal Soudani gave Algeria the lead but Cameroon equalised Benjamin Moukandjo.

Egypt came from behind to beat Congo 2-1 with Mohamed Salah and El Said scoring.

Tunisia moved second in Group A with a 2-0 win over Guinea. DR Congo top the group with a better goal difference after beating Libya Saturday.
