Chapungu unfazed by meeting title contenders

Chapungu have vowed to give a torrid time to all the 3 title aspirants when they meet at Ascot Stadium.

The Airman face 3rd placed Highlanders over the weekend will also face FC Platinum and Caps United in due course.

Speaking to the Chronicle, Chapungu coach John Nyikadzino said the teams should no expect easy matches as they are targeting a top 8 finish and will do anything to pick up sets of maximum points.

“Our aim is to finish in a respectable position and what is needed is for us to win our remaining matches. We just have to capitalise on home advantage and prepare in a manner that will ensure that we collect maximum points in our three home games. I know we will play the championship favourites in those games, and playing against such sides motivates the players as they put in extra effort. All our home games are against difficult and formidable sides, but we are ready for them, starting against Highlanders,” said Nyikadzino.

Chapungu face a fired up Bosso who are riding on an impressive 5 match winning trot over the weekend.
