Player agent takes Katsvairo to Dispute Resolution Chamber

Kaizer Chiefs striker Michelle Katsvairo will reportedly appear before the South African Premier League Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC)  this week over a transfer issue with a player agent.

Katsvairo moved to the ABSA Premiership giants from Chicken Inn alongside Edmore Chirambadare. Both players had impressed in the CAF Champions League 1st round fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns.

However an agent Nico Mbonani claims he was the first to alert Kaizer Chiefs on Katsvairo and agreed terms for the player with the club but was then excluded when the deal was about to be concluded.

I had the player’s terms regarding how much he was going to earn and stuff Mbonani told Soccer Laduma. We were ready to conclude the deal.

“Suddenly, I was excluded. When I first met the player and spoke to him, it was in February. He said he had no agent at the time. It was towards the end of March, after the interest in him from Chiefs, that I was excluded from the talks about the deal he revealed.

Katsvairo has had a good start to his career at Kaizer Chiefs scoring once and getting praise from head coach Steve Komphela.
