The prize money is $1,5 million.

“All of the $1.5 million – it’s all theirs Motsepe is quoteted saying by the Sowetan. They must now sit down and start thinking about how they are going to divide that money amongst themselves.

The billionaire also gave some words of advice to the players. “I just said to them‚ ‘Guys‚ don’t waste the money now. Take some of that money and invest it.

“It will benefit you when your football days are over’.”

Sundowns are now set to represent Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan in December.
