Champions League: Man City come from behind to beat Barcelona, Arsenal secure knockout spot

Ilkay Gundogan scored twice as Manchester City came from behind to record a 3-1 victory over Barcelona in Tuesday night’s Champions League clash at the Etihad Stadium.

Lionel Messi sent the Spanish champions ahead in the 21st minute, but a brace from Gundogan and a Kevin de Bruyne free kick secured an impressive win for Pep Guardiola’s side, who have closed the gap at the top of Group C to just two points with two matches left.

Arsenal recovered from two goals down to book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League courtesy of a 3-2 victory over Ludogorets Razgrad at the Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia.

The Gunners found themselves trailing by two inside 15 minutes, but they were level by half time and a moment of individual brilliance from Mesut Ozil completed the comeback late on to guarantee their place in the knockout rounds for a 17th consecutive season.
