Foreign based Zimbabweans Round Up

Here is a round up of the European based Zimbabweans.

Knowledge Musona (KV Oostende, Belgium)
Despite signing a contract extension at KV Oostende during the week, Musona was a notable absentee in his team’s 1-1 draw with Anderlecht. Musona missed the action due to ill health. The Smiling Assassin is however expected to be in action in the upcoming League game.

Marvelous Nakamba (Vitesse, Netherlands)
Marvellous Nakamba played the entire match while his side lost 2-1 against Heracles.

Costa Nhamoinesu (AC Sparta Praha, Czech Republic)
Costa Nhamoinesu was made to play overtime as his side earned a hard fought point in a nil all draw against Slovan Liberic. Nhamoinesu’s teammate Dočkal was shown a straight red in the first half setting up a highly physical second half. Nhamoinesu put up a delightful defensive show the entire match.

Mathew Rusike (Helsingborgs, Sweden)
Despite playing just the last 2 minutes in a 2 nil win over Jönköpings Södra Rusike received a yellow Card in the League’s last match. Helsingborgs finished at number 14 in a 16 team league. They survived the dreaded chop but will now play in the promotional play offs.

Tinotenda Kadewere (Djurgården, Sweden)
Tinotenda Kadewere was on the scoresheet in his second successive match as Djurgadens thumped GIF Sundsvall in seasons’s finale. Djurgården finished the season on position 7. The young striker had 21 appearances in the season – 8 stats and 13 coming off the bench. He scored 3 goals in the season.
