Zimbabwe is set to clash with Cameroon as part of preparations for AFCON 2017 .
A letter addressed to ZIFA by a match agent Joe Karnga has proposed the friendly to take place on the 10th of January in the Cameroonian capital of Yaounde.
The Warriors played a friendly against Tanzania earlier in the month but they have been calls for tougher opposition to adequately prepare to face Senegal, Tunisia and Algeria in Group B.
Cameroon has offered to accommodate the Warriors for four day and feel the match will be ideal for Zimbabwe ahead of AFCON 2017.
The close proximity of Cameroon to Gabon has also been cited as a major advantage for the friendly to take place in Cameroon as well as the similar weather conditions.
ZIFA have confirmed receipt of the offer and are keen to play the Indomitable Lions .Cameroon is in the same Group A with Gabon, Burkina Faso and Guinea-Bissau.
