Gabon’s Juventus midfielder, Mario Lemina, has been ruled out of Afcon 2017 with a back injury.
The 23 year old, who did not participate in the group A one all draw against Burkina Faso on Wednesday, will be missed as The Panthers take on Cameroon on Sunday in a do-or-die encounter.
A defeat would see the hosts Gabon leave 31st edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Gabon will also be without defender Johann Obiang who limped off during their match with Gabon on Wednesday.
