Chicken Inn thrash Bantu Rovers, Ngezi Platinum secure late win

Chicken Inn began the Castle Lager Premiership with a 5-0 drubbing of Bantu Rovers at Luveve Stadium this afternoon.

Tafadzwa Kutinyu gave his side the lead and it was one way traffic from there as the former league champions put four more goals past Bantu Rovers.

At Baobab Stadium 10 men Ngezi Platinum secured a late win over Black Rhinos. Walter Mukanga was sent off just before the half time break but Clive Augusto secured the winner in the 89th minute to give a winning start to Ngezi Platinum.

In other matches ZPC Kariba edged How Mine 1-0 while there were three goalless draws.
