ZPSL: Tsholotsho stun How Mine, Caps United and Triangle held

Tsholotsho managed to pick their first win at home this season beating wasteful How Mine in a Premier League match played at White City Stadium.

How Mine coach Luke Masomere may face the axe following now a string of poor results. Tsholotsho took the lead in the first half through Chris Chitiyo who pounced on a rebound to score from close range.

Tsholotsho Goalkeeper spectacularly beat his opposite number Munyaradzi Diya with a long clearance to double Tshootsho FC lead. Timothy January was able to pull one back a minute into extra time but was however not enough to save the match.

At the National Sports Stadium, Caps United were held to a goalless draw by relegation threatened Buffaloes.

Caps United blew chance after chance throughout the match but all their strikers took turns to miss the target.  Buffaloes could have punished Makepekepe but they had a goal controversial turned down for offside.

Title contenders Triangle drew 0-0 with Whawha in a match played at Ascot Stadium.

In another match Chapungu and Dongo Sowmills also played out a goalless draw.
