Chitembwe: CAPS United have to aim higher

CAPS United head coach Lloyd Chitembwe has challenged his side to finish the season strongly.

CAPS United had been struggling with results until last week’s 1-0 win over Hwange at the Colliery.

Speaking at the club’s weekly press conference Chitembwe said, ‘CAPS United is a club which deserves better and more than a top four finish .”We cannot settle for mediocrity and should be aiming for number one at the very least number two.

CAPS United are in 6th spot with 34 points from 23 games.

Chitembwe acknowledged the club has been undergoing transition and backed his team to compete for honours next year.

“For now we have to be realistic with the targets we set ourselves as we are undergoing a transitional period and many things have happened that have contributed to where we are now.

CAPS United take on Highlanders who have had problems of their own.

It will be Chitembwe’s third match in charge following a draw against Buffaloes and win over Hwange.
